We’re delighted to be working on regeneration of the Stockport Interchange, where we are building a 14-storey purposely designed building that includes 70 one-bed and 126 two bed fully furnished, spacious apartments in the heart of the town. The development includes 6 commercial units and a private garden for residents.
A dramatic upgrade to the transport infrastructure at the bus station is underway, connecting the train station, and the amenities for cyclists and walkers. A new two-acre rooftop park on top of the Interchange station is also in the works, creating a leisure and recreation area, along with additional green space for the local community.
We firmly believe in the importance of delivering great homes to support urban and community regeneration. The Interchange will be adjacent to the new park being built above the bus station which will run alongside the River Mersey with its walk and cycle path through to Didsbury and beyond.
The location is extremely convenient being close to the town centre, and with its own link to both the adjacent bus station and nearby train station. Stockport is just 7 miles south-east of Manchester city centre, where the rivers Goyt and Tame merge to create the river Mersey. Trains run regularly into Manchester, taking just a few minutes to arrive in the city centre.
Located less than 5 miles from Manchester Airport, Stockport is close to one of the busiest hubs in Europe, if not the world. Manchester Airport is the busiest UK airport outside of London, making Stockport an ideal location for jetsetters and world travellers. The development also has convenient rail links to the rest of the country, including London, Birmingham and Sheffield.
The Interchange comprises 14-storeys including 70 one-bed and 126 two-bed units in the heart of the town centre.
We will be in touch shortly.
